Our two countries have cooperation on various matters, we see that the situation around us is difficult; especially amid all this, it is very important to further deepen our cooperation. Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze made this remark during statements, with visiting Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, recapping the results of the 15th session of the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation between Armenia and Georgia today.

“We are linked by historical friendly ties between our countries, our peoples, and this serves as the basis for strategic partnership between Armenia and Georgia. Of course, we are very happy and excited that we have very high-level cooperation and are always interested in deepening our strategic partnership, deepening strategic friendly ties between our countries. The basis of this friendship is mutual respect, shared interests. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Armenia once again for supporting our national interests, for respecting our interests. I especially express my gratitude for supporting our territorial integrity and sovereignty.

During the commission session, I also thanked my [Armenian] colleague for supporting the resolution supporting Georgia in the UN General Assembly.

Today, we discussed the bilateral agenda, various topics, cooperation in various domains, discussed cooperation in education, sports, culture, and other domains.

However, we still have unrealized potential and prospects. I would like to highlight our very successful trade and economic cooperation. In terms of trade, Armenia is in the top ten among Georgia's foreign trade partners, and in terms of tourism, Armenia is in the top three. It is very valuable for Georgia to have such cooperation and to further deepen it in the tourism sector. We are very happy that the interest of visitors from Armenia to Georgia is increasing, we must further deepen this cooperation," the Georgian PM added.
