YEREVAN. - Number of calls for the Ambulance Service from Yerevan’s streets was reduced, the director of the Ambulance Service company Taguhi Stepanyan told the reporter of Armenian News-NEWS.am.

According to her, on Tuesday the Ambulance Service has been called 577 times, 5 of which have been from Yerevan’s streets.

On Monday the Ambulance Service has been called 599 times, 7 of which were from Yerevan streets and on Sunday the number of calls totaled to 590 (9 calls from the streets).

According to her, the first reason for calling the ambulance service is cardiovascular disease, the second is acute respiratory and the third is traumas.

To note, from the beginning of the week it was snowing heavily in Yerevan, which caused difficulties not only for drivers but also for pedestrians.
