NATO announced that its forces intercepted an Iranian missile heading toward Turkey, confirming the statement issued earlier by the Turkish Ministry of Defense.

“On March 30, NATO once again successfully intercepted an Iranian ballistic missile heading toward Turkey,” NATO spokesperson Allison Hart said.

“NATO is prepared for such threats and will always do whatever is necessary to protect all its allies,” she added, as reported by France 24.
