STEPANAKERT. – The adversary violated the ceasefire along the line of contact between the Karabakh and Azerbaijani opposing forces around 30 times, from late Sunday night to early Monday morning.

During this time the Azerbaijani armed forces fired more than 400 shots toward the Armenian position-holders, and by way of various caliber rifle weapons, the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR/Artsakh) Defense Army informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

In addition, the adversary fired 14 mortar shells toward Armenian positions, from its outposts that are located in a southerly direction (Horadiz settlement of the NKR) of the contact line.

But the NKR Defense Army vanguard units primarily refrained from taking actions in response, and took retaliatory actions solely when absolutely necessary.

At present, the situation is relatively calm all through the line of contact.
