Washington will do everything so that Iran could not have nuclear weapons, U.S. Vice President Michael Pence said during the Munich Security Conference.
“Let me be clear again: Under President Trump the United States will remain fully committed to ensuring that Iran never obtains a nuclear weapon capable of threatening our countries, our allies in the region, especially Israel,” he said.
Pence once again criticized the Iranian deal, saying that thanks to it Iran has an additional option to violate regional stability.
In an earlier interview with Fox News, President Donald Trump said he intends to press Iran with the help of sanctions.
