The meeting of Russian president Vladimir Putin and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan is planned for the near future, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said.

“Another meeting of President Putin and Prime Minister Pashinyan is planned in the near future. I think that it will be important for us to hear how the new Armenian leader himself assesses the prospects for the development of the situation in his country. Of course, we cannot be completely indifferent to how Armenia's obligations to the Collective Security Treaty Organization look in this situation. We proceed from the fact that these commitments are in effect, they must be fully implemented, including in relation to strengthening the reputation and image of our common organization,” Lavrov said during his meeting with the first-year students of the Moscow State Institute of International Relations.
