YEREVAN. – An investigator of Armenia’s Special Investigation Service decided to select a signature bond to not leaving Armenia as the second president Robert Kocharyan’s precautionary measure.
The Service confirmed the reports for Armenian News-NEWS.am, while one of Kocharyan’s lawyers Aram Orbelyan said they had not studied the decision and cannot comment on it yet. The lawyers of the second president will hold a press conference on Wednesday.
On July 27 Kocharyan was arrested, but was later released based on the judgement of the Court of Appeal.
