Iranian President Hassan Rouhani congratulated Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on his re-election, IRNA reported.

He expressed the hope that his re-election would provide opportunities for expanding and deepening bilateral, regional and international relations between the two countries, reports IRNA. 

“Hopefully, with the election of your Excellency, I hope that there will be opportunities for further expansion and deepening of bilateral, regional and international relations between two countries,” the statement said.

President Rouhani also called for the good health, success and prosperity of the people of the Republic of Armenia.
