The United States and North Korea have to meet halfway, representative of China's foreign ministry Lu Kang said after the summit between Donald Trump and Kim Jong Un ended without a deal, AP reported.
He said the situation in the Korean Peninsula experienced a significant “turnaround” over the past year, and this result is worth cherishing, AP reported.
Lu Kang added that the U.S. and North Korea returned to the right path of political settlement which is the only way out.
