The European Union and Armenia are strong allies, and we want to be supportive to Armenia, President of the European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker said during a joint presser with Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan.

“The more reforms Armenia carries out, the more we will support the country financially and politically,” Juncker said.

President of the European Commission said they had spoken about progress towards visa liberalization dialogue.

“Technical conditions were fulfilled, and now it is time to engage with the member states on the issue so that we could move together. We are ready to support this process and we are committed. As a Commission, we are in favor of starting negotiations on visa liberalization as soon as possible, as it is important for Armenia and the EU. We want more Armenians to traveling to the European Union,” he said.
