His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians on Thursday received a Lebanese delegation led by Mitropolit Antonios Al Soury of Antioch in Zahle and founding director of the Gardenia Lebanese Farms Nicolas Abou Fayssal.

The Catholicos of All Armenians gave his blessings to the guests and highly appreciated the programs that Mr. Nicolas Abou Fayssal is implementing in Armenia for mutual recognition and enhancement of relations between the two peoples. His Holiness also welcomed the presence of Mitropolit Antonios Al Soury and attached importance to his support to the initiatives that are being implemented.

Touching upon the close and cordial ties between Armenia and Lebanon, the Supreme Patriarch noted that always prays for the establishment of peace in the Middle East and the peaceful life of the friendly people.

In their turn, the Mitropolit of Antioch and Mr. Abou Fayssal expressed gratitude to the Catholicos of All Armenians for his ongoing attention to the initiatives targeted at the strengthening and development of the relations of both countries and peoples.
