French President Emmanuel Macron does not reject the idea of criminalizing the denial of the Armenian Genocide. 

His remarks came Wednesday evening at the event organized by the Coordination Council of the Armenian Organizations of France (CCAF).

According to Nouvelles dArmenie, speaking on the important topic for the Armenian community to broader and systematic criminalization of the Armenian Genocide denial, the French President noted some work was being done before a legal path was found for adoption of the relevant law.

As Macron noted, he is not a person to refuse complex decisions, even at the end of his mandate.
