The opening ceremony of the laboratory of the “Environmental Monitoring and Information Center” SNCO took place on January 31 in Yerevan. The lab repaired and furnished with new equipment with the co-funding of the Armenian government and the European Union (EU).
Work has been carried out to strengthen the lab's capacity under the Water Initiative Plus for Eastern Partnership Countries (EUWI+) program.
The opening ceremony was attended by Armenia’s Environment Minister Erik Grigoryan; Andrea Wiktorin - EU Ambassador to Armenia, Head of the EU Delegation to Armenia; Alois Kraut - Ambassador of Austria to Armenia; and Alexander Zinke - EUWI+ project leader of the EU Member State Consortium.
