YEREVAN. – The criminal case on a road accident involving Ivan Aghazaryan, the son of Hovik Aghazaryan, a member of the majority My Step faction in the National Assembly of Armenia, has been sent to court; we are informed about this from the website of the DataLex Judicial Information System.

Ivan Aghazaryan is charged with hitting a pedestrian on November 5, 2019, while driving his car in reverse for a certain distance in Yerevan, and negligently causing moderate damage to the health of this pedestrian.

He has been charged under a Criminal Code article section which specifies a fine of up to two hundred times the minimum monthly wage, or an arrest for one to three months, or an imprisonment for a maximum of two years.

A signature bond on not leaving the country has been selected as the pretrial measure against Ivan Aghazaryan.
