The people have never been in such a dire situation. This is what leader of Prosperous Armenia Party Gagik Tsarukyan stated during a meeting with members and representatives of the territorial organization of the political party in the Armenian city of Aparan today.

“Government officials need to interact with the people and listen to them, not just go live on Facebook and say everything is great. They need to have experience and understand things in order to take action,” he said, adding that all citizens pay interest rates for loans and that the government needs to subsidize loans and pay the interest rates so that the people can live at ease.

Touching upon the education sector, Tsarukyan said if he dealt with the education sector, he would do away with the Bologna Process and introduce the Soviet education system in schools.

The leader of the political party also declared that the authorities need to be afraid of the people, not him. “They haven’t fulfilled any one of their promises and have even increased the property taxes,” Tsarukyan said.
