President of Armenia Armen Sarkissian today received Deputy Mayor of Paris Anouch Toranian.
During the meeting, the parties particularly talked about the ongoing Azerbajiani-Turkish aggression unleashed against Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh), the situation created as a result of the aggression and the support to the Armenians of Artsakh who are in the focal point of hostilities.
The interlocutors expressed concern over the fact that Azerbaijan is breaking the ceasefire and targeting civilian infrastructures and the peaceful population, causing deaths and injuries.
They also touched upon the activities being carried out by Diaspora Armenians, particularly the Armenian organizations of France, as well as the deepening of cooperation between the administrative-territorial bodies of Armenia and France.
