Police officers apprehended member of the “Alternative Municipality of Yerevan” initiative Sona Aghekyan near the entrance to the National Assembly from Baghramyan Avenue. Aghekyan was holding red balloons in her hand and stated that they symbolize the ‘bloody deputies’ of the My Step faction of the National Assembly.

Right at the entrance, the police officers suddenly snatched the balloons from her, sat her in the police car and took her, but Aghekyan managed to declare the following: “We will win”.

The gathered citizens started chanting “shame”. One of them said police officers are defending Armenia’s pro-Turkish authorities and performing the authorities’ orders.
