A new round of talks on the final text of the Iran-Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) free trade agreement and the list of respective goods has started, ParsToday reported.

The next round of these talks took place in Moscow on Tuesday and Wednesday—and with the focus on discussing the final content of the text of this agreement.

The meeting was attended by the representatives of Iran and the five EEU member countries—including Armenia.

The aforesaid free trade agreement will enable the gradual lifting of customs duties on 80 percent of goods and the maintenance of the current tariffs for the rest.

The text of this agreement is mostly ready, and there are some matters that the parties need to discuss.

The Respective negotiations between the parties will continue until the end of the year and the signing of this free trade agreement.
