YEREVAN. – Foreign Minister of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan on Wednesday met with Comfort Ero, the President of the International Crisis Group, in New York, Armenian News-NEWS.am has learned from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia.
In the course of the meeting, a number of issues on regional and international security were discussed. Mirzoyan briefed on the position of the Armenian side regarding the normalization of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan and the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
Also, the FM drew hi interlocutor's attention to the recent aggression unleashed by the Azerbaijani armed forces against the sovereign territory of Armenia. He noted that Azerbaijan attempts to achieve its maximalist demands and aspirations by using force and threatening to use force, which torpedoes the stability and security of the region. The importance of targeted and impartial reaction by international organizations was emphasized.
