During the last two days, the Office of Human Rights Defender and other related state bodies of Artsakh/Nagorno-Karabakh received more than 600 calls and applications from citizens who are looking for their missing family members and relatives. The Office of the Human Rights Defender of Artsakh wrote about this in X's microblog.

Earlier, NEWS.am reported that on September 19, Azerbaijan launched a large-scale attack on Artsakh. Because of it, according to the latest official data, more than 200 people were killed and 400 were injured. Azerbaijan called the actions destroying civilian population of Nagorno Karabakh as "anti-terrorist measures of a local nature".

Considering the difficult situation on the frontline, on September 20, the authorities of Artsakh accepted the proposal of the Russian peacekeepers regarding the ceasefire. Accordingly, an agreement was reached on the complete cessation of hostilities on September 20, 2023, from 1:00 p.m.

"An agreement was reached on the withdrawal of the remaining units and servicemen of the RA Armed Forces from the deployment zone of the Russian peacekeeping force, the disbandment and complete disarmament of the armed formations of the Nagorno-Karabakh Armed Forces, the withdrawal of heavy equipment and weapons from the territory of Nagorno-Karabakh in order to quickly dispose of them.

The issues raised by the Azerbaijani side regarding reintegration, ensuring the rights and security of the Armenians of Nagorno-Karabakh, as well as the livelihood of the population of Nagorno-Karabakh within the framework of the Constitution of Azerbaijan were discussed at the meeting between the representatives of Nagorno-Karabakh and the Azerbaijani authorities in Yevlakh on September 21 and during subsequent meetings.
