US Secretary of State Antony Blinken recently engaged in a conversation with Hakan Fidan, Turkey's Minister of Foreign Affairs. During their discussion, they covered a wide range of topics, including the humanitarian situation in Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh). Blinken shared this update on his former Twitter account.

"Spoke with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan at the UN General Assembly about the U.S. and Türkiye's wide-ranging partnership, efforts to revive the Black Sea Grain Initiative, the humanitarian situation in Nagorno-Karabakh, and finalizing Sweden’s accession to NATO," he posted.

Earlier, TASS reported, citing a source from the Turkish Foreign Ministry, that the conversation between Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan and US Secretary of State Antony Blinken in New York encompassed discussions on the grain deal, Sweden's NATO accession, and recent developments in Nagorno-Karabakh.
