We have more than 20,000 forcibly displaced people who are already in the territory of Armenia, Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Gnel Sanosyan said at a briefing with journalists.

"When the process started, we first started settling our countrymen in Syunik, then in Vayots Dzor, now our compatriots are quite actively being settled in Gegharkunik Province, Kotayk, Tavush, Armavir and Ararat provinces.

We have separated working groups in the communities of the republic, there are responsible people, we have published their contact information, so that those of our compatriots who did not pass a proper registration, or did not want to do so in Goris or Vayk, can approach the given communities, registration will be conducted there, so that they will be able to get the support those programs offer. We will also know their location, habits, etc., he said.

Asked what the state's plan is when all the hotels and guesthouses are already occupied, Sanosyan answered: "We are now collecting the supposed apartments that can be rented, as well as the apartments that are currently not occupied and can be inhabited there with the consent of the owner. This is an ongoing process. I can assure you that none of our countrymen will be homeless."
