Former French Ambassador to Armenia Jonathan Lacôte made a post on his Facebook page in support of the Armenians of Nagorno-Karabakh.
“The next time a journalist wants to talk about "separatists", I invite them to look at this photo of an Armenian woman from Karabakh who, born in 1920, is older than all the borders of the region,” he wrote, posting a photo of an elderly Armenian woman.
