
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan met with Vassilis Maragos, Head of the Delegation of the European Union to Armenia. During the meeting, Pashinyan congratulated Ambassador Maragos on his new position and wished him success in his future endeavors.
Pashinyan emphasized the strong cooperation between Armenia and the EU across various domains, particularly in advancing democratic reforms within Armenia. He highlighted the successful implementation of the comprehensive agenda for government reforms in Armenia, which has received support from the EU.
The Prime Minister also stressed the importance of revitalizing projects outlined in the $2.6 billion investment package for Armenia proposed by the EU. Additionally, Pashinyan mentioned that international assistance is anticipated to address the situation created in Armenia due to the forced displacement of compatriots from Nagorno-Karabakh.
During the meeting, the two leaders discussed a range of agenda items concerning Armenia-EU cooperation.
