Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan's visit to the European Political Community Summit to be held in Granada, Spain, has been cancelled, Turkish newspaper Aydinlik reports.

The newspaper also reports that the parliamentary meeting of the ruling party with the participation of Erdogan was also cancelled. The newspaper explains that the visit was cancelled because Erdogan has caught a cold.

In Turkey, this news was received negatively, with many pointing to the fact that Aliyev would actually be alone in Granada where he was expected to meet with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
