
President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has refused to go to Granada, Spain, where a meeting was supposed to take place with the Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and with the participation of the leaders of the EU, France and Germany, Azerbaijani media report.
The Azerbaijani media explain that Aliyev refused to go to Spain because of what they call “destructive position of France”, as well as the disagreement of Paris and Berlin to Turkish president’s participation in the meeting. Under such conditions, Azerbaijan refused to negotiate.
Earlier, the Turkish media reported that Erdogan will not visit Granada because of a having caught a cold.
