Moscow proceeds from the respective agreements regarding the deployment of the Russian military base in Armenia. This was stated by the official representative of the Russian foreign ministry, Maria Zakharova, when asked whether the Russian side expects negative moves from Yerevan regarding the future of the Russian military base in Armenia.

"In all cases, we proceed from our agreements recorded on paper. Second, we will react concretely to all the concrete moves, and to assume what could happen... that's what analysts do. We provide comments on current events that have already occurred, or events that are certain to occur. If we talk about the Russian position, it is recorded in the relevant documents, it is legally worded," said the official representative of the Russian MFA.
