The European Union civilian monitoring mission in Armenia (EUMA) on Tuesday marked the first year of its activities in the country.

“To this day, the Mission has conducted over 1720 patrols contributing to enhanced security and stability on the Armenian side of the bilateral state border with Azerbaijan,” EUMA added on X—former Twitter.

In another post, EUMA noted that it was honored to host Stefano Tomat, Civilian Operations Commander  of the European External Action Service of the EU, on patrol in Jermuk city.

"Regardless of the weather conditions, the Mission continues its patrolling activities," EUMA added, in particular, in this post.
