The law enforcement agencies of Armenia accuse the Azerbaijani man detained in Moscow of murder.

"An interstate investigation has been initiated against the mentioned person on the charge of murder," Narek Sargsyan, press secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia, informed Armenian

As it was reported earlier, Azerbaijani fitness trainer Kamil Zeynalli was detained in Moscow at Armenia’s request.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia informed that Zeynalli was wanted on charges of murder, but they did not specify what it was actually about. According to unofficial data, however, Zeynalli is accused of brutally killing an old Armenian man during the 44-day war in 2020. The respective footage was shared on the internet.

The fact that it happened on the 20th anniversary of the murder of Armenian army officer Gurgen Margaryan, who was killed by Azerbaijani officer Ramil Safarov in Hungary—and with the same brutality, adds special significance to the detaining of this Azerbaijani criminal.
