A high-ranking IS commander responsible for the transfer of terrorists and weapons in Iraq and Syria has been eliminated. Iraqi Armed Forces Joint Operations Command announced Shafaq News reported.

"The forces eliminated the terrorist Samir Khidr Sharif Sharif Shihan al-Namrawi," the command specified in a statement.

The publication noted the IS chief commanded militants involved in operations against civilians in Iraq's Anbar province.
