A disease has spread among the animals in Lorut village of Armenia’s Lori Region, and quarantine is declared. The villagers informed that no animal has fallen, no pig has died yet, but there are pigs showing the symptoms of the disease.  

To note, the pigs of the same community were diagnosed with the African Plague, in 2007, and as a result 99 percent of the pigs had died. At that time, however, the villagers received compensation, but this time the specialists rule out this possibility.  

A testing is conducted and its results will be available in one week.
