Ali Larijani was a civilian politician with no ties to any terrorist organization, said prominent Iranian journalist Ali Alizadeh.

According to Alizadeh, his assassination in the center of Tehran was an absolute war crime and a violation of international law, yet not a single Western country condemned it.

"Israel presents these attacks as a form of 'smart wars' based on artificial intelligence. Let me say that the way Larijani was killed — and a day later, Ismail Khatib [Iran's Minister of Intelligence and National Security] — has nothing to do with 'smart wars.' To determine his location, they select six or seven places and bomb them all blindly. Where they finally got Larijani — which was his daughter's home in a rather poor neighborhood of Tehran — they killed 105 people," the journalist said.

According to Alizadeh, in each of the five other locations, they killed approximately the same number of people. So 200, 400, 300 people were killed just to eliminate one Iranian politician. "And they call this 'smart wars.'"

As the Telegram channel "First Middle Eastern. Iran" notes, Ali Khamenei was killed in the same manner — several locations where he might have been were bombed, resulting in the death of the leader himself along with his relatives, including women and children.
