YEREVAN. – Chairman of the Central Bank of Armenia (CBA) Arthur Javadyan, who is in Beijing along the lines of the Armenian presidential delegation’s visit to China, on Wednesday met with governor Zhou Xiaochuan of the People’s Bank of China. 

The parties also signed a swap transaction agreement, which totals 77 billion Armenian drams (approx. $162,740,413) and 1 billion Chinese yuan (approx. $160,998,190), between the two banks.   

The agreement is aimed at increasing commodity circulation and direct investment between Armenia and China, the CBA press service informed.
