Staff of the Turkish Kanalahaber who left for Rwanda to celebrate Muslim Qurabn Bayrami feast were shocked to see a stand dedicated to the Armenian Genocide in the local Memorial Center.
“On the first floor of the Memorial Center materials on Genocide in Rwanda are exhibited. The second floor is dedicated to the Holocaust and war in Bosnia. We were surprised to see a stand describing events of the Armenian Genocide. It was written that 1.5 million Armenians were killed in Ottoman Empire in the beginning of 20 century. Photo of Taleat pasha was in the corner,” said Jeliha Akin, the reporter of Kanalahaber.
