YEREVAN. - Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev’s feigned surprise can hardly conceal the fact that, in response to the U.N. Security Council’s resolutions of 1993, calling for an end to hostilities, Azerbaijan, hopping for success by means of a military adventure, was impeding their implementation until it had to ask Nagorno-Karabakh for peace, Armenian Deputy FM Shavarsh Kocharyan said.

Kocharyan replied to the Aliev’s surprise at the fact that the aforementioned resolutions have not so far been implemented.

“If the Azerbaijani authorities really want the problem to be resolved, they should not accuse the international community. Rather, they should reject threats to settle the problem by force and put up with the Artsakh people’s will to be masters of their fate,” Kocharyan said.
