YEREVAN. – We agree that those who are breaking the law should be punished, no matter if they are form Armenian National Congress (ANC), Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF) or Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP), Armenian First President, leader of opposition Armenian National Congress Levon Ter-Petrosyan said on Sunday.

Answering to the reporters’ question he explained why ANC is not reporting about the violations of PAP, but only the violations of Republican Party.

Eight political parties and one block have presented their nominations – Republican Party of Armenian, Prosperous Armenia Party, Orinats Yerkir, opposition Armenian National Congress, opposition Heritage Party, ARF Dashnaktsutyun, the Communist Party of Armenia, Democratic Party of Armenia and United Armenians Party.

For entering a 131-seat National Assembly, parties must poll over 5% of votes, while blocks - over 7%.
