YEREVAN. - Armenian Communist Party, Armenian Democratic Party and United Armenians Party are satisfied with the procedure of the on-going parliament elections in Armenia.

The leader of the Democratic Party Aram Sragsyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am that he cannot make any final assessments yet as they are still collecting facts.

“We know only one thing, bribe has been distributed throughout the day. In polling stations everything is calm,” Aram Sargsyan mentioned.

The leader of the Communist Party Ruben Tovmasyan assessed the election process as normal.

“It is a calm process,” Ruben Tovamsyan said adding that no extraordinary event happened in their electoral headquarter.

Head of the United Armenians Party headquarter Hovhannes Hovhannisyan told that they did not receive any serious complaints from the trusted people.

“It’s only the issue of ink which still remains,” he said.

Eight political parties and one block have presented their nominations – Republican Party of Armenian, Prosperous Armenia Party, Orinats Yerkir, opposition Armenian National Congress, opposition Heritage Party, ARF Dashnaktsutyun, the Communist Party of Armenia, Democratic Party of Armenia and United Armenians Party.

For entering a 131-seat National Assembly, parties must poll over 5% of votes, while blocks - over 7%.
