YEREVAN. – Armenia’s Police received a call from the Armavir Fire Department, on Sunday at 2:10pm, informing that an Armenian-made YerAZ-model automobile was in flames nearby the Norapat village cemetery. Subsequently, a call was received this time from hospital at 2:55pm, informing that Hovhannes Khachatryan, 55, was transferred to the hospital with a heel bone fracture.
It was found out that a fire had started in Khachatryan’s YerAZ at around 2pm on the same day, the driver had threw himself out of the vehicle while it was moving, and as a result he had sustained the aforementioned fracture, the Police Media Department informs.
An investigation is launched.
