YEREVAN. – Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) member Naira Zohrabyan issued a statement which, however, does not make it clear whether or not the PAP is prepared to sign a ruling coalition memorandum with the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA), Haykakan Zhamanak daily writes.

“There are chitchats within the ruling circles that, not a coalition memorandum, but rather, still, a cooperation agreement will be signed between the RPA and the PAP.

In any case, the RPA Executive Body will convene a session today [Thursday], which will be chaired by [Armenia’s President and RPA leader] Serzh Sargsyan, and during which—as expected by the ruling circles—this matter will be cleared up.

It is assumed that Serzh Sargsyan and [PAP Chairman] Gagik Tsarukyan will meet prior to the RPA executive session,” Haykakan Zhamanak writes.
