ARARAT. – Vardashat village resident in Armenia’s Ararat Region, 85-year-old Hayk Hovhannisyan drank acetone instead of vodka by mistake. As a result, he was hospitalized and in three days, on Monday he died in the hospital, the village community head Argam Karapetyan informed the Armenian News-NEWS.am. 

Karapetyan also said that there was a party in the old man’s home several days ago on the occasion of the arrival of his relatives from Russia. The old man wanted to drink vodka but instead choose acetone by mistake. He felt bad, was hospitalized and died without coming into consciousness.
