YEREVAN. – The Armenian Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan accompanied by the education department head at the Yerevan city hall Gayane Soghomonyan visited on Monday No. 1 School after S. Shahumyan where the Syrian-Armenian schoolchildren are learning on accelerated courses of the Armenian language. Over 50 children take the courses, ministerial press service reports. The Minister participated in the education process, talked with the Syrian-Armenians learning the language. It was found out that the schoolchildren have studied mainly the rules of the grammar. The Syrian-Armenian children thanked the Ministry and the Yerevan city hall for having organized the education process quickly and effectively, as well as for supporting their integration process into the Armenian life.
