YEREVAN. – A middle-aged man attempted to jump off the Kievyan Bridge in Yerevan, Armenia, intending to commit a suicide on Wednesday. However, the crowd gathered and the Road Police employees managed to prevent the attempt of suicide, the Mashtots police department informs Armenian News-NEWS.am.

The man is being interrogated and his identity will be available later. To note, it was the Road Police employee who saw that the man is trying to commit a suicide and called the Mashtots department. Later the crowd and the police managed to persuade the man to refrain from taking the step.
