YEREVAN. – The President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan received on Thursday the European Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighborhood Policy Štefan Füle.
The president stressed he is satisfied with the registered dynamics of the Armenia-EU relations, presidential press-service informs Armenian News-NEWS.am. Besides, Sargsyan believes that Füle’s visit will be a new impetus for developing Armenia-EU relations.
The EU Commissioner agreed with the President that regular meetings allow discussing more details concerning the cooperation agenda and take bilateral relations to a higher level.
Füle also stated that Armenia is firm in the EU integration process and now it is better to pass from the reform agenda to more precise actions. The sides expressed satisfaction with the progress of Armenia-EU Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Agreement launched in 2010, as well as talks on simplification of EU visa regime.
