YEREVAN. – Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) considers Armenia’s Attorney General Aghvan Hovsepyan’s petition submitted to the Parliament for obtaining its approval to remove former FM, MP Vartan Oskanian’s parliamentary immunity, as political persecution not only against Oskanian but also the party, PAP political council informed Armenian News-NEWS.am adding all accusations in the petition are baseless and devoid of any legal justification.

“The PAP will provide for all the MPs a package of documents during the case discussion in the Parliament on Oct. 1st, which will prove the baseless character of accusations by the Attorney General,” the statement by the council reads.
