YEREVAN. – Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan received on Friday world celebrity pianist Evgeny Kissin within the frameworks of the "Prospects of XXI" international music festival, presidential press service informs Armenian News-NEWS.am. The President welcomed Kissin stressing that he is accepted in Armenia as an honest friend, who has been supporting Armenians since the 1988 quake.

Sargsyan claimed that talented people also have a great contribution in reinforcing friendship between nations.

Armenian President also awarded Kissin with the Order of Honor for his contribution to reinforcing Armenian-Russian cultural relations and for his humanitarian aid during the devastating quake.
