ETCHMIADZIN. – Episcopal Assembly of the Catholic Church kicked off at the Vatican on October 7, and under the chairmanship of Pope Benedict XVI.   

The Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin’s chief inspector for religious and educational institutions and Kevorkian Theological Seminary inspector, Bishop Gevorg Saroyan, is taking part in this assembly on behalf of the Mother See. Also, Bishop Saroyan will address the event and convey to the Pope the fraternal salutations from the Catholicos of Armenians Karekin II, Information System of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin informs.

Bishop Gevorg Saroyan will also have several meetings at the Vatican.
