YEREVAN. – Armenia’s MFA building will host an International center for the Armenian culture, trustworthy source informs Armenian News-NEWS.am. According to the source, the center will occupy only part of the building.

At the agency informed earlier, the MFA’s building on the Republic Square in downtown Yerevan was sold to the Tango Company owner Argentinean-Armenian businessman Eduardo Eurnekian by the decision of the Government on Oct. 4. The deal amounted about $50.4 million and the building will also have a five-star hotel.

The State Property Management Department informed earlier that the company also purchased the former building of the Ministry of Justice adjacent to the square. Thus, the company’s owned territory will include both Armenian ministries, including the MFA and Justice. The ministries will be relocated in another building.
