YEREVAN. – Armenian FM Edward Nalbandian reflected on the Nagorno-Karabakh issue during his address delivered on October 13, and within the framework of the International Organization of La Francophonie (OIF) Summit being held in the Democratic Republic of the Congo capital city Kinshasa. 

He stressed that the international community’s stand, according to which the aforesaid the matter must be resolved solely by way of pacific means—and which is consistent with Armenia’s approach—, has been expressed on many occasions, and the primary approaches of this position were proposed to be included in the final resolution of the OIF Summit. Regrettably, however, Azerbaijan continues to go against the international community and to reject the mediators’ proposals for settling the conflict, Armenian MFA press service informs.       

And on October 14, the International Organization of La Francophonie Summit adopted the final resolution on the resolution of crisis situations and peace-building, whereby the OIF countries’ support to the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs’ ongoing efforts to settle the Karabakh conflict was specified.
