YEREVAN.- Armenian plane heading from Yerevan to Aleppo, has already left for Syria after a routine landing in the airport of Turkey’s Erzurum.

Representative of Air Armenia CJSC told Armenian News-NEWS.am the plane underwent a security check successfully and left the Erzurum airport at 6:30 p.m. Yerevan time.

As reported earlier, Armenia is sending humanitarian aid to Syria. The Turkish aviation authorities had informed the Air Armenia airline company last week that if it wished for its plane to pass through Turkish air space, it must land in Turkey’s Erzurum [city] Airport for cargo inspection.
