YEREVAN. – Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian received, Dafina Gercheva, the UN Resident Coordinator/UNDP Resident Representative in Armenia, who is ending her mission in Armenia.  

Nalbandian extended his thanks to Gercheva for her contribution to the implementation of programs in Armenia during her tenure and awarded her with the MFA’s commemorative medal. Also, the FM wished success in her future endeavors, MFA press service informs.    

In her turn, Dafina Gercheva highly appreciated the cooperation that was established with the MFA during her term in office as the UN Resident Coordinator/UNDP Resident Representative in Armenia, and extended her thanks to Armenia’s Government for its assistance.    

Subsequently, the interlocutors exchanged views on the UN development programs being implemented in Armenia in recent years as well as on the implementation of new programs.
